This item appears as new throughout except as mentioned above. Acquired by us in 2007 as part of a large collection but never played since.

THis opera was first produced in 1733, libretto by Simon-Joseph de Pellegrin. Various revisions were made during 18th century revivals, and this recording is of a new realisation by J-C Malgoire.
